Michelle's baking experiences

Hello, haven't really posted in a while because I've been so busy with my holidays! While they're supposed to be about catching up on sleep, I've dedicated my holidays to furthering my sleep deficit. And I have to write this freaking scholarship speech as well which is kind of a bit of a screw up for my holidays.

8 MINUTE SPEECH BRO

Anyway, Linda came over the other day and we baked butterfly cupcakes and brownies. The brownies looked really disappointing and burnt because of my incompetence in working with the oven and the cupcakes had a similar story except for the fact that I could like, mask some of the.. err.. more interesting cupcakes by turning around the "wings" and pretending.... Nothing. Ever. Happened.

Linda likes to chop up butter, obviously and we used our extra special cup cake mix from Coles

GOOD OLD COLES BRO

Somehow with instant cupcake mix, I still managed to burn most of the cupcakes. We decided to be innovative and turn the "wings" around so that the burnt side faced the inside HAHAHA. The instructions said to bake for 25 minutes on 180 degrees but I totally missed the SLASH 160 degrees on fan forced and since we used the convection microwave oven ... I think I probably should have put it to 160 degrees.

OH WELL BRO, STILL GOOD BRO.

They tasted amazing and the cream was to die for. Yeah, the brownies tasted amazing too but they were a little disappointing looking so I've just provided the raw mix. I'll put it on a lower heat next time as well....
